BENJAMIN J. KURAS

Benjamin J. Kuras passed away Sunday January 15, 2023. He was the beloved husband of the late Elizabeth K. (McMahon) Kuras.

 Born in Central Falls, RI he was the son of the late Frank and Julia (Zonsa) Kuras. He was a lifelong resident of Central Falls.

 Before retiring Ben was employed as a Truck Driver for both the former Cooper Sissions Food Service Co, and the former Almacs Supermarket chain. He was a Korean war Navy Seabee veteran and a member of the Woonsocket Elks.

 Mr. Kuras is survived by his loving family, five sons, Michael Kuras and his wife Mary Lou of Pawtucket, RI. David Kuras and his wife Robin also of Pawtucket, RI. Brian Kuras and his wife Karen of Mansfield, MA. Stephen and Jeffrey Kuras both of Central Falls, RI. ten grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Isabelle Kuras, Celia Elam and Frank Kuras.

 His funeral will be held Monday January 30, 2023 at 8:30 AM with a Funeral Prayer Service in the Karol A. Romenski & Sons Funeral Home 342 High Street Central Falls, RI at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends are welcome to attend.
