Cecylia Kopij 95, passed away Friday April 21, 2023 at her residence. She was the beloved wife of the late Pawel Kopij.
Born in Szarwark, Poland she was the daughter of the late Ludwik and Katarzyna (Oles) Kedzierski.
Mrs. Kopij was employed as a Machine Operator for 30 years at Murdock Webbing before retiring. She was also a member of the Holy Rosary Society of St. Joseph's Church.
She is survived by her two loving daughters, Elzbieta Naylor of Warwick and Danuta Kopij of Attleboro, MA, three grandchildren Kevin, Julia, and Victoria, one great-granddaughter Allyson, and three sisters, Janina Misiak of Poland, Matylda Mikula of Pawtucket, and Agnieszka Juszczyk of Poland. She was the mother of the late Halina Safarik and Leszek Kopij, and grandmother of the late Jason.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday April 26, 2023 at 8:30 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. in St. Joseph's Church 391 High Street Central Falls. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket.
Relatives and friends are welcome to attend. Calling hours will be held Tuesday April 25, 2023 from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.
