Charles P. Iwuc 100, passed away January 13, 2025. He was the beloved husband of the late Josephine (Korkuc) Iwuc.
Born in Attleboro, MA he was the son of the late Bronislaus and Adolphina (Zamoida) Iwuc.
Mr. Iwuc was employed as a Dry Cleaner and was Co-Owner of the former Esquire Cleansers.
He was a United States Navy Veteran serving in WWII. Trained as a Radioman, he became a Turret Gunner on the U.S. Kalinin Bay Escort Carrier. He fought in the Battle Off Samar, which was a pivotal battle in the war of the Pacific.
Mr. Iwuc is survived by three daughters, Julie Iwuc Decker of Los Alamitos, CA, Mary-Ellen Iwuc McGrane of Clayton, CA, Charlene Iwuc of Providence, three sons, Dr. John Iwuc and his wife Dr. LouAnn Maffei - Iwuc of Hopkinton, MA, Peter Iwuc and his wife Ingrid of St. John, US Virgin Islands and Joseph Iwuc of South Attleboro, MA nine grandchildren, five great-grandsons and several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by one grandson. He was the father of the late Gerard Iwuc and brother of the late Stella Rarus, Lottie Byrnes, Jane Zielinski, Jessie Jendzejec, Francis Iwuc, Joseph Iwuc, Rev. Anthony Iwuc, Stephen Iwuc and Edward Iwuc.
His Funeral will be held Monday January 20, 2025 at 8:30 AM from the Karol A. Romenski & Sons Funeral Home 342 High Street Central Falls with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Joseph's Church 391 High Street Central Falls. Burial with Military Honors will be held Tuesday January 21, 2025 at 10:00 AM in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Curran Road, Cumberland
Calling Hours will be held Sunday January 19, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM
Relatives and Friends are welcome to attend.

The family respectfully invites relatives and friends to join them at the Pawtucket Country Club following the Funeral Mass on Monday morning.
