Catherine M. "Kay" (Grady) Stimpson

CUMBERLAND- Catherine M. "KAY" Stimpson 75, passed away Tuesday July 21, 2015 at Rhode Island Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles H. Stimpson Jr. Born in Providence she was a daughter of the late John and Katherine (Mara) Grady. She lived in Cumberland for the past 43 years and was formerly of Pawtucket. Before retiring Kay was employed as a Bank Teller in the Blackstone Valley area. She is survived by her devoted son Charles H. Stimpson III Captain of Cumberland Rescue and his companion Kristen L. Palmisciano of North Scituate, two granddaughters MaryKay and Anya Stimpson both of Cumberland, one sister Geraldine Franklin and her husband David of Cumberland, two brothers William Grady and his wife Helen of Woonsocket and Gerald Grady and his wife Constance of Cumberland, several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Virginia O'Brien, John and Edward Grady. The funeral for Mrs. Stimpson will be held Friday July 24, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. from the Karol A. Romenski & Sons Funeral Home, 342 High Street, Central Falls with a Prayer Service in the Funeral Home at 10:45 a.m. CALLING HOURS THURSDAY FROM 4:00 P.M. TO 7:00 P.M. Burial will be at Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
