CUMBERLAND, RI - Dorothy M. Darnell 86, passed away Friday March 12, 2021 at Hope Hospice Care Center in Providence, RI. She was the beloved wife of the late Dean L. Darnell.
     Born in Pawtucket, RI Dorothy was a daughter of the late Andrew and Pauline (Strycharz) Sypula. She lived most of her life in Cumberland.
     Mrs. Darnell is survived by her loving family, Donna M. Mayer and her husband Rene of Cumberland, RI, Darlene L. Darnell of Florida and David D. Darnell of Illinois. She also leaves grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
      Relatives and friends were welcome to attend a Funeral Prayer Service Friday March 19, 2021 in the Chapel of Notre Dame Cemetery 359 Daggett Avenue Pawtucket, RI at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers Donations in the Memory of Mrs. Darnell to Hope Hospice 1085 North Main Street Providence, RI 02904 would be greatly appreciated.
     A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at a later date.
