EDWARD P. LACHUT

    Edward P. Lachut 87, passed away Monday July 11, 2022 at his residence in Conway, SC. He resided in South Carolina for the past 5 years and was formerly of Lincoln,  RI 
     Born in Cranston, RI he was a son of the late Paul and Janet (McGill) Lachut.
     Edward was an U.S Army Veteran serving as a Specialist 4th Class Signal Corpsman from May 1958 to May 1960.
     Before retiring Mr. Lachut was employed by the former Blackstone Valley Gas & Electric Co. (National Grid) now Rhode Island Energy for 44 years.
     He is survived by one son Kevin E. Lachut and his wife Amy (Grainger) Lachut of Conway, SC. He also leaves 2 step-grandchildren, 2 step-great-grandchildren. He was the father of the late Kerri A. Conway.
     His funeral will be held Monday July 18, 2022 at 8:30 a.m. from the Karol A. Romenski & Sons Funeral Home 342 High Street Central Falls,RI with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Jude Church 301 Front Street Lincoln, RI at 10:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are welcome to attend. Calling Hours Monday Morning  From 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in Mt. St. Mary's Cemetery, Pawtucket, RI
