SEEKONK - Helen Dobosz 72 of Brown Avenue died Tuesday at the Maine Medical Center in Portland Maine. Born in Central Falls she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Catherine (Kaplan) Kuras. She lived in Seekonk for the past 25 years and was formerly of Pawtucket. Helen received a Bachelors Degree in Education and was a teacher for over forty years at the Cunningham School in Pawtucket retiring in 2011. She still remained active in the school as a substitute teacher. She is survived by her three loving daughters, Diane Green and her husband Justin of Saline MI, Kendra Dobosz of Syracuse N.Y. and Alysia Dargie and her husband Christopher of Steep Falls ME, three grandchildren, one sister Maryanne DeFelice of Cranston, and one brother Anthony Kuras of North Smithfield, several nieces and nephews. and several great nieces and nephews. The funeral for Mrs. Dobosz will be held Saturday February 7th at 9:30 a.m. from the Karol A. Romenski & Sons Funeral Home, 342 High Street, Central Falls with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, Coyle Drive, Seekonk. Burial will be private. Relatives and friends are welcome to attend. CALLING HOURS WILL BE FRIDAY FROM 4 P.M. to 7 P.M. In lieu of flowers the family will be accepting donations on behalf of Mrs. Dobosz's Memory to be presented to the Cunningham School Library.
