IRENE C. (KULPA) ZAGROSKI

"BACHIE" - Irene C. (Kulpa) Zagroski 96, passed away peacefully and into eternal life on April 25, 2024 surrounded by family.

 Born in Palmer, Massachusetts on June 30, 1927 she was the daughter of the late Michael and Katherine (Armata) Kulpa. She was also the sister of the late Augustine, Stanley, and Edward Kulpa. Irene proudly finished and received her high school diploma from Palmer High School in June of 1944. Irene then married the love of her life, Walter R. Zagroski, who predeceased her in 2003. Irene and Walter were happily married for 55 years. A loving and cherished mother, Irene leaves behind two sons, Richard Zagroski and his wife Angela of Westerly, RI, Walter Zagroski and his wife Susan of Pawtucket, RI, two daughters, Linda Chauvin and her husband Raymond of Seekonk, MA, and Kathleen Tinkham and her husband James of Pawtucket, RI. Irene also leaves behind 9 grandchildren (Jennifer, Kristen, Julie, David, Ryan, Errick, Ricky, Krista, and Lindsay)10 great-grandchildren (Alleigh, Benjamin, Meghan, Zachary, Emerson, Brayden, Claire, Piper, Owen, and Dakota) and many more nieces and nephews.

Calling Hours be held Wednesday May 1, 2024 at 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at Karol A. Romenski & Sons Funeral Home 342 High Street Central Falls, RI 02863. 

Immediately following, family and friends are kindly invited to a funeral service at Saint Joseph Church, 391 High Street Street Central Falls RI 02863, with a burial service to follow in Mount Saint Mary Cemetery, 661 Prospect Street, Pawtucket RI 02860.
