JANET V. (GRABOWSKI) PRENETA

    Janet V. Preneta 98, formerly of Sumner Street passed away Thursday March 3, 2022. She was the wife of the late Frederick J. Preneta. They were married for 61 years.
     Born in Lincoln, RI she was a daughter of the late John  and Caroline (Gadziala) Grabowski.
     Before retiring Janet was employed as a Secretary for the former Preneta Brothers Construction Co. of which her husband Fred was a co-owner.
     Mrs. Preneta is survived by one daughter Diane J. Guyot and her husband Stephen of North Attleboro, MA, nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Stella Grabowski.
     As per the wishes of Mrs. Preneta a private funeral was held.
