Cumberland - Jennie Wachowicz, 94, passed away on Wednesday, September 13,
2023, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Edward F.
Wachowicz, Sr., for seventy-one years.
Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Anastazya (Nowak)
Orchel and sister of the late Col. Stanley Orchel, John Orchel, and Walter Orchel. Mrs.
Wachowicz was employed as a Buyers Assistant for 20 years at Ann & Hope before
retiring.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her beloved daughter Janice Coles and
her husband Dr. F. Bruce Coles of Slingerlands, NY; her beloved son Edward F.
Wachowicz, Jr., and his wife Dr. Joanne Butler of Manhasset, NY; her beloved
grandchildren, Emily Rochac Argueta (husband Carlos), Mary Kulhanek (husband
Stephen), Anne Wachowicz, and Fr. John Wachowicz.; and four beloved great-
grandchildren, Chloe and Lily Rochac Argueta and Arthur and Veronica Kulhanek. She
also leaves several loving nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at 8:30 AM from the Karol A.
Romenski & Sons Funeral Home, 342 High Street, Central Falls, with a Mass of
Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Joseph's Church, 391 High Street, Central Falls.
RELATIVES AND FRIENDS ARE WELCOME TO ATTEND.
Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Cumberland.
