JOHN STANLEY KOZIOL

John "STANLEY" Koziol passed away Sunday December 15, 2024. He was the beloved husband of Patricia J. (Pianka) Koziol.

Born in Central Falls, he was the son of the late Stanley and Alice (Hobson) Koziol.

Mr. Koziol was a Sergeant for the Town of Cumberland Police Department for 28 years before retiring. He also received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Salve Regina University.

He was a veteran of the United States Army serving during the Vietnam Era. He was also a member of the FOP.

He is survived by his daughter Cheryl A. Durkin of Smithfield, two sons Scott J. Koziol of North Providence and Stanley P. Koziol and his wife Margaret of Cumberland, nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Robert W. Koziol.

Relatives and friends are welcome to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Friday December 20, 2024 at 10:00 AM in St. Joseph's Church 391 High Street Central Falls, RI. Burial will follow in the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter, RI/
