Obituary
75, passed away Friday October 15, 2021 at the Roger Williams Medical Center, Providence, RI. He was the beloved husband of Claire (Roy) Soboda.
Born in Pawtucket, RI he was a son of the late Joseph F. and Florence A. (Aubin) Soboda Sr. He lived in Rehoboth, MA for the past 52 years.
Before retiring Joe was employed as the Manager of Operations as well as the Manager of Disaster Recovery for Hasbro Industries. He was a member of the Church Choir at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Seekonk, MA and a member of the Massachusetts Bay Rail Road enthusiasts and also a member of the New Haven Rail Road Historical Technical Association.
Beside his wife he is survived by his loving children. One daughter Lucy A. Faria of Cranston, RI, two sons Jay A. Soboda of Seekonk, MA and Anthony J. Soboda and his wife Corrie of Rehoboth. He also leaves his two devoted grandchildren Kaylee and Anniella.
The funeral for Mr. Soboda will be held Thursday October 21, 2021 at 8:30 a.m. from the Karol A. Romenski & Sons Funeral Home 342 High Street Central Falls, RI with a Mass of Christian burial in Our Lady Of Mount Carmel Church 984 Taunton Avenue Seekonk, M at 10:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are welcome to attend. CALLING HOURS WEDNESDAY FROM 4:00 P.M. TO 7:P.M.
