Janina (Kornafel) Olszewski

ATTLEBORO - Janina Olszewski passed away Saturday September 29, 2018 at the Life Care Center of Attleboro with her loving family at her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Roman A. Olszewski. Born in Zolynia, Poland she was a daughter of the late Juzef and Maria (Frey) Kornafel. She lived in South Attleboro for the past 62 years and was formerly from Holland. Before retiring Janina was employed as a Seamstress for the former Health-Tex Manufacturing Co. of Central Falls. Mrs. Olszewski leaves her loving daughter Danuta "Donna" Olszewski of South Attleboro, one sister Maria Kopec of Poland and one brother Franciszek Kornafel also of Poland, nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Czeslawa Frankow and Stanislaw Kornafel. The funeral for Mrs. Olszewski will be held Thursday October 4, 2018 at 8:30 a.m. from the Karol A. Romenski & Sons Funeral Home 342 High Street Central Falls with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph's Church 391 High Street Central Falls at 10:00 a.m. CALLING HOURS WEDNESDAY FROM 4:00 P.M. TO 7:00 P.M. Relatives and friends are welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers Memorial Donations to St. Joseph's Church would be greatly appreciated.
