LINDA L. (SMITH) PROVOST

73, passed away Thursday December 23, 2021 at Landmark Medical Center in Woonsocket, RI.

Born in Corpus Christie, TX she was a daughter of the late John L. and Barbara H. (Bower) Smith. Linda lived in Harrisville, RI for the past 7 years and was formerly from the Riverside section of East Providence, RI.

Before retiring Linda was the Office Manager for the Massachusetts Gas & Electric Co. for many years.

She is survived by her loving family, three sons Robert J. Grant Jr. and his wife Cheryl of Harrisville, RI, Joseph R. Grant Sr. and his wife Beth of Smithfield, RI, Matthew J. Provost and his wife Sherri of Pawtucket, RI, two sisters, Judy Capozzi of Coventry, RI, Barbara Hanley of Cumberland, RI, four brothers, James Smith of Smithfield, RI, John Smith  Jr. and Robert Smith both of Cumberland, RI and Daniel Smith of Central Falls, RI, five grandchildren, three great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Calling hours Sunday January 2, 2022 in the Karol A. Romenski & Sons Funeral Home 342 High Street Central Falls, RI from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service in the Funeral Home at 3:00 p.m. Relatives and friends are welcome to attend.
