BRENNAN CHALMERS "LU" LUBOMIRA (Merchut) Lubomira A. "Lu" Chalmers Brennan 88, passed away Monday October 10, 2016 with her loving family by her side. She was the former wife of the late John S. Chalmers and the late James E. Brennan. Lu was the fiancee of the late Charles R. "Chick" McMinn. Born in Pawtucket she was a daughter of the late Pawel and Apolonia (Opiela) Merchut. She was a lifelong resident of Pawtucket. Before retiring Lu was employed in the Blackstone Valley Area as a Bookkeeper for many years. She leaves her loving son Paul M. Chalmers and his wife Susan of Pawtucket, one grandson Paul J. Chalmers and his wife Ryan of Lincoln, one granddaughter Elizabeth A. Shore and her husband Ryan of South Kingstown, two great grandchildren Jack E. and Owen M. Chalmers, nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Henry P. Merchut. Her funeral will be held Friday October 14, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. from the Karol A. Romenski & Sons Funeral Home 342 High Street Central Falls with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph's Church Church 391 High Street Central falls at 11:00 a.m. CALLING HOURS THURSDAY FROM 4:00 .M.
