MARIA J. (KARAS) MACZUGA

ATTLEBORO, MA - Maria Maczuga 86, passed away Tuesday February 2, 2021 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Mieczyslaw Maczuga.
     Born in Hankowka, Poland she was a daughter of the late Stefan and Julia (Pankiewicz) Karas.
     For most of her life she lived in Pawtucket, RI before moving to Attleboro, MA.
     Mrs. Maczuga is survived by two daughters, Zofia Dybowski and her husband Jerzy, Janina Lojek and her husband Aleksander. She is also survived by one son Stanley Maczuga. She was the mother of the late Danuta Maczuga. Maria leaves four devoted grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She will be missed.
     Relatives and friends were welcome to attend a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph's Church 391 High Street Central Falls, RI Saturday February 6. 2021 at 10:00 a.m. Burial was in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket, RI with Covid-19 restrictions in place.
