MARIA K. (BEDNARZ) ZAWADA

80, passed away December 24, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Jan Zawada.

     Born in Niwka, Poland she was a daughter of the late Andrzej and Rozalia (Sierak) Bednarz. Maria lived in Attleboro, MA for the past 15 years and was formerly of Southbridge, MA.

     Before retiring Mrs. Zawada was employed as a Machine Operator for the Russell Harrington Cutlery Mfg. Co. of Southbridge, MA for 20 years.

     Beside her beloved husband she is survived by two loving daughters, Krystyna R. Grela and her husband Wesley of Seekonk, MA and Bozena "Jenna"  MacIsaac and her husband Rod of Jupiter, FL, five grandchildren and one great granddaughter, nieces and nephews.

     Her funeral will be held Tuesday January 4, 2022 from the Karol A. Romenski & Sons Funeral Home 342 High Street Central Falls, RI at 8:30 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph's Church 391 High Street Central Falls, RI at 10:00 a.m. Calling hours Monday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Relatives and friends are welcome to attend.

     Due to Covid-19 restrictions relatives and friends are required to wear a face mask.
