92, passed away Friday March 4, 2022 at Hope Hospice and Palliative Care of Rhode Island. He was the beloved husband of Adele M. (Cordeau) Lubera.
Born in Pawtucket, RI he was a son of the late Michael and Catherine (Strycharz) Lubera. He was a life long resident of Central Falls, RI.
Before retiring Mickey was a co-owner of the Public Window Cleaning Co. for 50 years and was also a Professional Bowler. He was later employed by the former Lincoln Lanes of Lincoln, RI.
Beside his wife he is survived by his loving family, daughter Deborah A. DiBenedetto and her husband Dennis C. of Cranston, RI, three grandchildren Dana Papitto and her husband Jerry Jr. of Cranston, RI, Ashley O'Rourke and her husband Chris also of Cranston, RI and Drew DiBenedetto and his wife Julianne of Mansfield, MA. three great grandchildren, Adelaide Papitto, Giulio Papitto and Kinsley O'Rourke. He also leaves two sisters Irene Walsh of West Warwick, RI and Anne Paquette of Trumbull, CT, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Jennie Petcavage, Sophie Siwy, Theodore, Joseph, Walter, Stanley and John Lubera.
Relatives and friends are welcome to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Saturday May 21, 2022 in St. Joseph's Church 391 High Street Central Falls, RI at 11:00 a.m. THE FAMILY REQUESTS THAT EVERYONE ATTENDING THE MASS PLEASE WEAR A FACE MASK.
