NORA (ELEANORA) I. MISIOLEK
SYRACUSE, NY - 
     Nora (Eleanora) I. Misiolek, 61, passed away Friday February 26, 2021 in Syracuse, NY.
     Born in Pawtucket, RI she was the beloved daughter of the late Walter and Irene J. (Kleniewski) Misiolek. She lived in Syracuse, NY for the past 40 years and was formerly of Pawtucket, RI. 
     She graduated from Tolman High School of Pawtucket, RI and then went on to receive her Bachelor's, Master's and Doctorate Degrees from Syracuse University. She received her MBA in Innovation Management and Marketing and her PhD in Information Science and Technology. Nora was a lifelong learner and was also certified in several coaching disciplines after completing her University studies.
     Nora worked in several capacities throughout life but all dealing with education and coaching. She was President of Misiolek & Associates coaching business; Faculty member of the Maryland University of Integrative Health; Adjunct Professor at Syracuse University School of Information Studies; Past President of CIELO Consulting; and an Assistant Professor of Information Systems of Marist College.
     Nora was the Founding President of International Coaching Federation (IFC) Upstate NY Chapter; a volunteer coach for Women For Change Coaching Community; a coach for Community Crossroads: The Promise Zone Project; an Alumni Undergraduate Mentor for Syracuse University; and volunteered in several capacities over the years at All Saints Church in Syracuse, NY.
     Nora's interests were wide ranging and included intricate research, extensive workouts, voracious reading, her beloved cats, playing tennis, supporting New England sports teams, Mexican folk art, music appreciation, the Navajo Nation and picking winning racehorses. She was always at her best helping others and doing her best to form connections among various people and organizations. She always tried to help others to see their full potential as a coach, teacher and friend.
     Nora is survived by her loving brother Edward J. Misiolek of Pawtucket, RI. She was predeceased  by her brother Richard Misiolek and her longtime companion George A. Comstock. 
     Calling hours were Wednesday, March 24, 2021 in the Karol A. Romenski and Sons Funeral Home, 342 High Street, Central Falls, RI from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. Relatives and friends were welcome to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, March 25, 2021 at St. Joseph's Church, 391 High Street, Central Falls, RI at 10:00am. 
     In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions in Nora's Memory may be given to help aid the Dine and Hopi Reservations, a great need that disturbed Nora late in life.
