ROLAND A. LACHAPELLE
Obituary
Roland A. Lachapelle 92, passed away Sunday July 23, 2023 at Kent Hospital. He was the lifelong partner of Mary "Margie" Lugiski.
Born in Fall River, MA he was the son of the late Lucien and Blanche (Cyr) Lachapelle.
He was employed as a Warehouse Worker for Gold Medal Baking Company before retiring. He was also the manager and bartender for twenty years at the Vets Bar on Central Ave in Pawtucket. Mr. Lachapelle also enjoyed going to the beach.
He is survived by three sons, Roland and his wife Cathy of Naples, FL, Donald and his wife Rhonda of Scituate, and Richard and his wife Cathy of Coventry, two grandsons Michael and Derek, one great-granddaughter Keara, six step-grandchildren Ryan, Lisa, Sherri, Caitlin, Kelly and Maggie, four step-great-grandchildren Aiden, Harper, Hunter and Paul. He was the father of the late Lucille Lachapelle and the step-father of the late Lynn Gingras and Joseph Lugiski. He was the brother of the late Rita, Pauline, Annette, Rene, Raymond and Norman.
His Funeral will be held Monday July 31, 2023 at 9:00 A.M. from the Karol A. Romenski & Sons Funeral Home 342 High Street Central Falls, RI followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 A.M. in St. Teresa's Church 358 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket. Relatives and friends are welcome to attend. Calling Hours are Monday From 9:00 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. Burial will be in Mt. St. Mary's Cemetery, Pawtucket.
