LINCOLN, RI - Stasia R. Skowron 86, passed away Sunday February 7, 2021 at her residence. She was the beloved wife of the late John M. Skowron. They were married for 55 years.
     Born in Central Falls, RI she was a daughter of the late John and Aniela (Solek) Pasela. She lived in Lincoln, RI for the past 50 years and was formerly of Pawtucket, RI.
     Before retiring Stasia was employed as a Bookkeeper in the Accounting Dept. of the former Corning Glass Works of Central Falls, RI and later at C.H.N. Anodizing  of Woonsocket, RI  formerly of Pawtucket, RI,
     Mrs. Skowron is survived by her loving family, one daughter Paula M. Skowron of Lincoln, RI, one sister Helen Labossiere also of Lincoln, RI, two devoted grandchildren Grace and John Skowron and their mother Jennifer A. (Olson) Skowron of Marshfield, MA., nieces and nephews. Stasia was the mother of the late Mark A. Skowron. She was the sister of the late Anna Pasela, Elizabeth Kleva, Veronica Orzechowski, Mary Pasela, Pauline Fundakowski, Julian, Stanley ,Joseph and Antoni Pasela.
     Stasia loved her faith, family, and the PC Friars. She was a season ticket holder to the men's basketball games for the last several years and would make it a point to watch their away games on TV.
     Calling hours were respectfully omitted. Relatives and friends were welcome to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Friday February 12, 2021 in St. St. Joseph's Church 391 High Street Central Falls, RI. Burial was in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland, RI with Covid-19 restrictions in place.
     In lieu of flowers Memorial Donations in Mrs. Skowron's memory to St. Joseph's Church or the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation 230 East Ohio Street, Suite 500, Chicago, IL 60611 would be greatly appreciated.
