STASIA F. (BLECHARCZYK) ZAWACKI

LINCOLN - Stasia (Blecharczyk) Zawacki, age 83, of Lincoln, passed away suddenly Sunday, February 23, 2025. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles J. Zawacki for over forty-nine years. Born in Holyoke, MA, and raised in Chelmsford, MA, she was the daughter of the late Stanley & Eleanora (Wojtas) Blecharczyk.

 
She leaves her three loving children, Frank Zawacki and his wife Rose Zawacki, of Cumberland, Julie Zawacki-Lucci and her husband Anthony, of North Kingstown, and Charles Zawacki of Lincoln; and three adoring grandchildren, Chloe Lucci, Eliana Zawacki and Ean Zawacki. She is also survived by her sisters Mary Snead of Lowell, MA, Barbara Godlewski of Chelmsford, MA and Stephanie Bassett of Chelmsford, MA. She is predeceased by two brothers, Joe Blecharczyk of North Port, Florida, and Frank Blecharczyk of Pelham, NH.

 
Stasia graduated with a secretarial degree from Mount Ida College in Newton, MA and for over thirty years, was a trusted medical administrative professional for cardiothoracic and vascular surgeons, Dr Jorge Benavides and Dr Taghi Rajabiun, in North Providence, RI. She loved the office, her work and learning about the medical field.

 
Stasia left a trail of warm smiles wherever she went. She was known for her kindness, empathy and unyielding support to those in need. She was an avid gardener, polka dancer, cancer survivor and devote Catholic, offering countless hours of her time to the church.

 
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial, Saturday, March 1, 2025 at 11:00 am at St Joseph Polish Catholic Church, 391 High Street, Central Falls, RI 02863. Visiting hours will held before the mass from 9:00 am to 10:30 am at Karol A. Romenski & Sons Funeral Home, 342 High St, Central Falls, RI 02863. Burial will be private.
