TANYA D. (ALEXANDER) LUCAS

PAWTUCKET, RI - Tanya D. Lucas 72, passed away Tuesday January 19, 2021. She was the beloved wife of Lorraine A. Cadoret.

     Born in Roxbury, MA Tanya was a daughter of the late William and Mary Ellen (Holloway) Alexander. She lived in Pawtucket, RI for the past 30 years.

     Before retiring in 2014 She was employed by the State of Rhode Island as a Community Living Aide for 42 years.

     Tanya was a Champion Power Lifter with the North American Atlantic Woman's Power Lifting Association.

     Beside her wife, Tanya is survived by one daughter Tedra Mendes and her husband James of Pawtucket, RI, one brother Antwyon Carter also of Pawtucket, RI, one sister Makia Early and her husband Stephen of Providence, RI. She also leaves two grandchildren, four great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Valeda Alexander.

     Funeral Services were private.
