Wanda Szlachciuk

PAWTUCKET - Wanda Szlachciuk 65, passed away Sunday Oct. 11 at Rhode Island Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Joseph Szlachciuk. Born in Domaszew, Poland she was a daughter of Marian and Genowefa (Dyminska) Lozinski of Bellingham. She lived in Pawtucket for the past 50 years. Before retiring, Wanda owned and operated Vis-A-Vis Travel Agency of South Attleboro for 30 years. Besides her husband and parents, she leaves one daughter, Katherine Trepanier, and her husband Sylvain of Rehoboth; one son, Paul Szlachciuk, and his wife Michaela, of Seekonk; one sister, Elizabeth Kasper of Hopkinton, Mass.; one brother Richard Lozinski of Bellingham; five granddaughters, one great grandson, nieces and nephews. The funeral for Mrs. Szlachciuk will be held Thursday, Oct. 15 at 8:30 a.m., from the Karol A. Romenski & Sons Funeral Home, 342 High Street, Central Falls, RI, with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph's Church, 391 High Street, Central Falls, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are welcome to attend. Calling hours are Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. Burial will be in Mt. St. Mary's Cemetery, East Providence.
