Wladyslaw Chmielewski

PAWTUCKET - Wladyslaw Chmielewski 87, passed away Thursday July 6, 2017 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro. He was the beloved husband of Helena (Sasak) Chmielewski. Born in Czartowek, Poland he was a son of the late Michal and Franciszka (Giemziak) Chmielewski. He lived in Pawtucket for 65 years. Before retiring Mr. Chmielewski was employed as an Inspector for 34 years at American Insulated Wire. While living in Poland before coming to this country he was employed as a Steel Bridge Erector. Besides his beloved wife Mr. Chmielewski is survived by his loving children Two daughters Donna Kasa and her husband Joseph of Wilbraham, MA, Irene Sekulski and her husband Rajmund of Plainville, MA and one son Michael Chmielewski and his wife Malgorzata of Rehoboth. He also leaves ten grandchildren, two great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three sisters and seven brothers. Mr. Chmielewski's funeral will be held Tuesday July 11, 2017 at 8:30 a.m. from the Karol A. Romenski & Sons Funeral Home 342 High Street Central Falls with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph's Church 391 High Street Central Falls at 10:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are welcome to attend. CALLING HOURS MONDAY JULY 10, 2017 FROM 4:00 P.M. TO 7:00 P.M. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket.
